Florida!!

That would be correct. I am currently writing from the sunny state of FL however on that note this is also our last full day here. Sadly reality must kick in at some point and we must go home.
What have I been up to since April 2? I don't even know in all honesty. The week before exams left me scrambling to write research papers and then final week hit and I was studying and taking six finals in five days. Needless to say my blog was the least of my concerns. I spent most of the last two weeks in school awake. Nights were spent doing research or homework, working or chatting to people. Days were filled with tests, running around and basically just going somewhere. Finally it all caught up and I got a cold. I went the entire semester without being sick and on the last day I get sick...I suppose the body can only handle so much. On my last day at school I took two finals then hung out with Steve, Azalea, Christel and anyone else that happened to be around. Packing also consumed a lot of my time as Adri and Christel locked me in my room and told me I couldn't go anywhere until I had packed everything and deciphered between what was staying in the storage rooms and what was going home with me for the summer. When that was finished I went downstairs and for supper we order Chinese. At 11 Christel, Azalea and Steve drove me to the airport (well Christel drove). It then came time for saying goodbye for the summer which sucked. Normal human beings cry but my tear ducts stopped working eons ago. Instead a mixture of major sleep deprivation, being sick, not wanting to say goodbye and being excited about going to Fl all mixed in and I got to taste my Chinese food all over again. Finally it was time to board the flight and by this point I was so tired I could barely think. I walked onto the plane and wanted to just sleep...it was 1am. Sadly, sleeping on an airplane is nearly impossible for me however the guy next to me had no problem. At 7:30 Eastern time aka 5:30 Alberta time... I stepped off the plane. Faith and Cary found me and we headed back to there place. The first thing I saw was the couch and slept for two hours then woke up repacked my stuff into smaller bags, climbed into the car and we were off. I don't remember much from that first day because I slept all day in the car. I know we stopped somewhere I think in PA to eat lunch at a rest area (sandwiches and such...very good) however at this point in time I still had no appetite and ate a little over half and threw the rest away...such a waste of perfectly good havarti. That night we stopped in I think it was West Virginia but ya I don't remember. I slept all night and the next day we were off again. We made it to FL by 7 that evening and mom made soup. That night I took some pill that totally knocked me out and so all day Sabbath I walked around like a zombi until it finally wore off. Sunday we went to the flea market which was amazingly awesome. Anyways this past week has been extremely relaxing and a lot of fun. I love the ocean, the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, the soft warm sand beneath your feet making it nearly impossible to walk but perfect for laying on and getting a tan, the warm sun overhead penetrating your white skin that hasn't seen the light since last summer thanks to Alberta. Yes, its been a lot of fun! I still don't think I have caught up on sleep but oh well. We leave tomorrow and begin the drive home, should arrive late Monday evening as we have to stop in Union Springs to drop Jaymee and Evan off at school. Michael and Adri leave on Tuesday for Alberta where they will meet up with the rest of the gang and head to Nicaragua for six weeks. I was jealous until I watched a movie last night and realized me and bugs and snakes just don't get along so...I will support them from here...Go Guys! Woot! Anyways thus ends another blog...until next time (which will probably be Monday evening when I get home)...take care

A WHAT!? IT CAN'T BE...NO WAIT...IT IS...A BLOG

Thats right everyone!! It's a blog post *music begins playing wildly as streamers fall from the ceiling and balloons fill the air* No wait! Could it be...a clown? Ok no, no clowns, I'd better leave. No wait, if I stop writing there won't be a blogpost so this clown will continue writing. Allow this clown to tell you the story of Charlee.
Alas...there she sits by night and day studying books all so gay, for she has heard a teacher say a curse be on her if she does not stay to study in the library. That would be correct...sadly this is the truth I speak for I cannot tell a lie. You see, as Charlee sat in the library on that Monday afternoon she was forced to ask the question "Why do I hate you, I cannot begin to count the ways." She said these words over and over again to her books. Why this hatred for her books?
Earlier on that Monday morning Charlee sat thinking of all the crazy things she had to do in a very short amount of time and so she resolved to go to library and not get up until her paper was finished. At the hour of 2:15 she walked into the library and there she sat down and began finding books for her topics. After locating the 8 books and piling them around herself she took a seat in the basement of the library in a corner all alone. You see, before her rose the task of writing an 8-12 page paper on a topic of Daniel or Revelation. She chose the seven seals of Revelation. She sat, she studied, she pulled her hair, she longed for death, alas..."It was the best of times, it was the worst of times." She looked at the clock, 4:15. Running to class she noted that she was on time, in fact early as usual (to class). All through class she couldn't help but think of the paper that awaited her return. Afterwards she headed back down the lonely stairs and sat in her dungeon. It is said that there is a time for everything, a time for life and death and at this point in time she couldn't help but think of death, oh woest her. Ok, it wasn't that bad. However, as Charlee stood pouring over her books she failed to here the person approaching behind her until it was to late. In the "This is a Quiet Zone" she yelled...why? Because behind her a man by the name of Steve (her ecrazed boyfriend) had crept up on her and scared the living daylights right out of her. She continued writing and finally finished her paper at 10:15. It was now a time of rejoicing, the good times had begun.
The next day...Tuesday...Charlee found herself scrambling again to write a speech on alcohol. Today, she gave that speech, met with her advisor, ran around campus like a chicken with its head cut off and ran into Red Deer to grab some things. Yes...Charlee now has two more 8-12 page research papers due on Monday and Tuesday and then...exams begin...and then...Florida (two weeks tonight she flies out and she is excited about falling asleep on the beach and not waking up until the day they either picked up her charred body and throw it into the ocean or wake her up to drag her, screaming and gnashing her teeth, all the way back to Ontario. Alas...this story has been told for the benefit of those who happen upon this tale of woe.
Ok, my life isn't that bad at all. Aside from writing papers and speeches and meeting with people and planning something for Saturday night...life has been good. Anyways, just thought I would touch base and let you all know I'M ALIVE.
PS Happy Birthday Steve!!!!! Ay April 3, 2008 marks the 23rd birthday of me boyfriend. Ok I'm really tired and should stop writing now.
