Whats my password!

Yes, once again I signed in and my mind went blank as I reached the password spot...guess its been too long eh. I was informed twice that I need to update my blog as these certain two faithful individuals are getting sick of looking at the same date...but you will notice I updated the picture!! So there!
Anyways...There really is not a whole lot to report on. Last weekend we went camping and canoing. It was a lot of fun and I realized that I don't know alot. One girl that was camping with us (she is 7) asked me two questions to which I had no answer but merely scratched my head then shook it as I realized that kids ask some of the coolest questions that in all honesty I never think about. If I ever do have kids I'm reading an encyclopedia first and even then I doubt I'll have the answer to half the questions asked. I suppose at that point you could just start making up answers...jk. Better yet I'll buy them encyclopedias then once again who needs books anymore with the internet right. I read an article the other day which talked about the lack of interest in books these days. Its really sad but people have their internet. There is no more need of sitting down to learn something when you can just type it in and poof! the answer pops up. Sad really. I still adore my books! Anyways I have a way of getting off topic in the summer.
This past week our church began a Vespers/Bible study on Friday evenings and I have the privilege of leading it until I head back to school...in three weeks. Can you believe how fast the summer goes? Needless to say as I look back over this past summer I would have to say its been a good one. As much as I don't want it to end I will be happy to finish landscaping as I have never been so exhausted in my life...its a guy's job (well the kind of work they do). Lifting all those crazy heavy things and ya, I'm a small person! trying to kill me young I guess. I do love being outside though. Oh ya! This past week (on a different note, too lazy to start a new paragraph...not in school yet) I made home made pyrogies and then two days later I made home made burgers and fries. I'm trying to perfect the art of cooking as I have little skill in that department and from what I can tell it turned out ok...in other words, no one died! YAY! Oh and they ate it...including Evan who eats nothing. The burgers were zucchini, carrots, rolled oats and egg and of course seasoning and they work in a bun with ketchup. I've only ever made them to be eaten with potatoes or something. Tomorrow I make lasagna! My favorite and something Jaymee has been bugging me to make forever! So...I'm finished writing for now, hope this hasn't been too boring! Oh yah...on the note of spiders...ok so there was no note of spiders but since I started this anyways...today while I was helping mom making tacos (can you tell I'm hungry right now) I noticed a big ol' ugly black spider with EIGHT LEGS *shivers* crawling on a can of olives. He had to be three feet wide and two feet tall...ok he was maybe the size of oh I don't know...a pen's head...still! He had to die! So...I tried hitting him but alas he got away in a crack and so, to this night, he still lurks around the kitchen. If I see him tomorrow...hes gone!! If anyone out there loves spiders, I'm sorry, but I don't! Until later!

I have often wondered what the great book lover, your Grandpa, would have done with the internet!? Glad to hear that you are getting plenty of exercise and Vit D!! It is also a good thing that your cooking skills have progressed way beyond KD, so proud of you. See you soon!!

Thank you for updating... even though I live with you I enjoy your take on life!!!
Yes one day you will be a wonderful cook...like your aunt. (not your mother!!) Surprised you guys made it as far in life as you have, with my cooking!!
Anyhow about the kids asking question.. you will be able to answer them, if not ask your aunt, she is an encyclopedia on her own.
Sorry about the spider... but we seem to have a few of them in this house.
Thanks for making the lasagna tonight.
love you
