Whats my password!

Yes, once again I signed in and my mind went blank as I reached the password spot...guess its been too long eh. I was informed twice that I need to update my blog as these certain two faithful individuals are getting sick of looking at the same date...but you will notice I updated the picture!! So there!
Anyways...There really is not a whole lot to report on. Last weekend we went camping and canoing. It was a lot of fun and I realized that I don't know alot. One girl that was camping with us (she is 7) asked me two questions to which I had no answer but merely scratched my head then shook it as I realized that kids ask some of the coolest questions that in all honesty I never think about. If I ever do have kids I'm reading an encyclopedia first and even then I doubt I'll have the answer to half the questions asked. I suppose at that point you could just start making up answers...jk. Better yet I'll buy them encyclopedias then once again who needs books anymore with the internet right. I read an article the other day which talked about the lack of interest in books these days. Its really sad but people have their internet. There is no more need of sitting down to learn something when you can just type it in and poof! the answer pops up. Sad really. I still adore my books! Anyways I have a way of getting off topic in the summer.
This past week our church began a Vespers/Bible study on Friday evenings and I have the privilege of leading it until I head back to school...in three weeks. Can you believe how fast the summer goes? Needless to say as I look back over this past summer I would have to say its been a good one. As much as I don't want it to end I will be happy to finish landscaping as I have never been so exhausted in my life...its a guy's job (well the kind of work they do). Lifting all those crazy heavy things and ya, I'm a small person! trying to kill me young I guess. I do love being outside though. Oh ya! This past week (on a different note, too lazy to start a new paragraph...not in school yet) I made home made pyrogies and then two days later I made home made burgers and fries. I'm trying to perfect the art of cooking as I have little skill in that department and from what I can tell it turned out ok...in other words, no one died! YAY! Oh and they ate it...including Evan who eats nothing. The burgers were zucchini, carrots, rolled oats and egg and of course seasoning and they work in a bun with ketchup. I've only ever made them to be eaten with potatoes or something. Tomorrow I make lasagna! My favorite and something Jaymee has been bugging me to make forever! So...I'm finished writing for now, hope this hasn't been too boring! Oh yah...on the note of spiders...ok so there was no note of spiders but since I started this anyways...today while I was helping mom making tacos (can you tell I'm hungry right now) I noticed a big ol' ugly black spider with EIGHT LEGS *shivers* crawling on a can of olives. He had to be three feet wide and two feet tall...ok he was maybe the size of oh I don't know...a pen's head...still! He had to die! So...I tried hitting him but alas he got away in a crack and so, to this night, he still lurks around the kitchen. If I see him tomorrow...hes gone!! If anyone out there loves spiders, I'm sorry, but I don't! Until later!

100th Post

That would be correct, this is the 100th post...unless the computer it lying to me. So assuming that the computer can count then this is it...100. I will admit that I expected to post my 100th post sometime back in April but as it turned out April was a crazy month which included very little to no sleep, a trip to Florida and starting work. May was a busy month full of well, work. Now June is behind me as well and once again I worked, went camping, went to campmeeting and am now scratching my head and asking myself where on earth July is going. I decided to give a brief or not so brief...you'll know by the end of this...account as to what my day is like in the summer. First I must recall this one day in class where one of my teachers was commenting on blogging. My teacher was saying how they just could not understand why on earth someone would want to post their journal or account of their day for the world to read. I began laughing because in actuality I rather enjoy blogging. I am not the type of person that just opens up and shares everything in person and I find writing is an awesome way to express myself. Anyways...I got side tracked already...so my day in Ontario...
Sadly I must start off by saying that I think I am getting old. There was once a time when I could seriously sleep all day if I let myself... now...I wake up faithfully before eight o' clock. Perhaps that will change and I will begin sleeping in again at some point but for now I'm awake before eight...if I have time I will lay in my bed thinking about how wonderful sleep would be but it doesn't happen. So, I wake up before eight and this, my friends, begins my day. I mean seriously, who knew that waking up would begin your day? *shrugs shoulders* I reach over, grab my Bible and have devotions as the words on my Bible dance around as I rub the sleep out of my eyes. Then I get up, get dressed and head downstairs to eat breakfast. I must pause here to repeat that last phrase...I eat breakfast...again...I eat breakfast. This is amazing for me because I never used to and now I find myself wondering how on earth I used to live as I did...no sleep, no breakfast...crazy youngsters these days. Anyways I cannot give you an actual account of what happens next as there are no words to describe it except maybe this...thiodshgoisdoglksjdrlksf...chaotic eh? Ok so its not that bad but it can be rather interesting. You see, I am working for my dad landscaping and thus there is no set pattern that we do anything. It chances with the weather, literally. So, I work from 8-5 then I get home and well a whole number of things can happen. I could go somewhere, or watch Road to Avonlea, I love Lucy, perhaps read or sometimes I do all the above in one evening. I really cannot make that sound interesting. When people ask me what my hobbies are I usually say "I like researching and reading" and they look at me as though I have grown another head and perhaps some mutated eyeball. I guess most people respond "I like snow boarding off of cliffs and almost dying and then I play computer games" which is fine, I like skiing but sadly I have finally learned to say these words..."I am a nerd" and its true. I slowly watch as my room fills up with books and when I travel, get this, I bring more binders and books then clothes...sad eh? The other day I went into a Chapters and nearly died. There were so many books, its like an alcoholic going into a beer store...not a good thing. I was able to turn myself around after 1/2 hr but only because my brother was waiting to be picked up. Anyways I must be going now, but I figured I would write and let everybody know I am still alive. *waves frantically* I will be back at school in a little over a month and I'm sure there will be a lot more blog posts then...not because life is more exciting...on the contrary...see at school I am procrastinating doing homework so I write blogs, just like right now I'm procrastinating writing a sermon and thus a blog is the result. Anyways...off I go to make myself useful...until 101! take care
Oh yes! Happy Independence Day to all those American's out there!! Woot!!!
