Happy Sabbath!!! I Love Sabbath!

I'm currently sitting on a couch which rests on the mez. I have an amazing view of the 'lake' and I'm all by myself. I have, sitting beside me, a bag of pretzels and on my right knee rests my old laptop. I am surrounded by pillows and am extremely comfortable. In my ears rest two ear phones with Avalon pouring into my ear canals. On the window ledge beside me rests a book, Pride and Prejudice, my keys, cellphone and a bottle of Apple Juice. The couch I am sitting on is facing the window, outside the window the sky is gray but no precipitation is falling to which I am thankful. The 'lake' is white as it is covered by snow which hasn't melted yet...whether the ice under the snow is still sturdy is another question. So...why am I being a loner?
Last night I got to bed around 3 and was awake again at 8:20 so I could start getting ready for church. I climbed out of bed and ran into the bathroom, having already showered the night before it was more a matter of just getting ready. I grabbed my black dress pants and top and changed quickly. Then of course theres that teeth brushing business...what's up with that anyways? I look in the mirror and realize that if you took a pen and connected the zits you would have a perfect triangle, I was impressed. After straightening the old hair and realizing I really need to go in and get my hair thinned again I headed out of the room and to the bug. After picking Steve up we got back to the dorm and while the group that is going to Nicaragua met I headed back up to my room to grab my stuff. By this time my phone is ringing and I'm being told to get downstairs right away as they are ready to leave...where? Ponoka of course. No, we were not all going to the mental institution there but rather to the church *pause and withold comment* Sorry I just remember reading something about the word institution...churches are often called institutions...I'll leave it at that. Anyways yes, the group that is going to Nicaragua put on the church service in Ponoka. Since Adri, Michael and Steve are all heading to Nicaragua I decided to tag along...Azalea wanted to sleep all day and ya hey why not go check out a new church...so I went. It was a good church service, Steve did two special musics, both of which were really good contrary to what he would tell you.
After the church service we were invited over to someone's house for lunch, the food was amazing and their house...was really nice. They also had a dog, part german shepherd, made me miss Nippy *sniff* While waiting for lunch Michael went downstairs and played air hockey with one of the kids and I played cars with another kid, he was two. Let me clarify, it was more like he threw them down the stairs, I grabbed them, gave them back and the process was repeated. So, after lunch Michael got roped into jumping on the trampoline with some kids and Steve and I watched and well, Steve got mauled by the dog and cat. After this we watched Lord of the Bean...go Veggie Tales!! College aged kids, still in love with Veggie Tales.
We are now back in the dorm. If I peer over my couch and look down the mez stairs I can see Michael sitting in a chair in the lobby with Enoch looking at some photo book. Adri is sleeping (thus the reason for me being on the mez, I didn't want to keep her up) and Azalea I do believe is running...go figure. Anyways, I'm thinking of kicking my legs over the edge of the couch and crashing for a bit then tonight a few of us are going bowling. So...Have a great night all

Reading this makes me sleepy. I am sure I only got 3-4 hours of sleep last night as yesterday was the 50th anniversary of the consecration of Willowdale and I got my fingers in to many pots, really good day but I am so tired and now I am here for 12 hrs, that would be known as work!! Have a great Sunday!
